Throughout his career, Jeremy has been exposed to many different companies and disciplines in the finance and accounting arena. As a result, he is accustomed to fast-paced projects, short learning curves, problem solving, and completing assignments in a timely and efficient manner. In 2007, Jeremy formed Sweek Consulting to leverage his extensive experience in both public accounting and industry in order to deliver outstanding, personalized service to small and mid-sized companies needing financial and accounting expertise on an hourly basis.

 

Prior to starting Sweek Consulting, Jeremy worked forĀ over seven years at Crescent Real Estate Equities in multiple capacities serving the Chief Financial Officer, including strategic planning, budgeting and analysis, and investor and media relations. Near the end of his tenure at Crescent, Jeremy played a key role in the private equity buyout of the Company through transactional modeling and analysis, presenting the merits of the transaction to Wall Street analysts and shareholders, soliciting shareholder votes, and working with the acquiring company to ensure a seamless transition. Jeremy also spent five years in public accounting with Weaver & Tidwell and PricewaterhouseCoopers on audits and consulting engagements.

 

Jeremy received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas Christian University in 1995. He is a member of Financial Executives International, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Urban Land Institute, Toastmasters International, and The Alternative Board.
